This Long Island Zip Code Ranks As Most Expensive In Tristate Area, Second Nationally

An annual list of America’s Most Expensive Zip Codes has determined the Long Island zip code that ranked highest in the tristate area.

Property Shark's list analyzes median home price data for zip codes throughout the nation.

The 11962 zip code of Sagaponack ranks second nationally with an average home sale price of $5,500,000.

Watermill (11976 zip code) is No. 17 nationally with an average home sale price of $2,862,500.

Amagansett (11930) is tied for 35th, with the average sales price being $2,150,000.

Two other Hamptons zip codes made the Top 50 national: Bridgehampton (No. 46) and Wainscott (tied for 48th).
